For a sustainable future, renewability is necessary, but not sufficient. Based on the principles of sustainable chemistry, biomass conversion pathways shall provide competitive advantages in social, environmental, and economic performances, taking full benefit of the molecules and structures created by nature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">LNBR has facilities and expertise for the development of physicochemical processes and for in-depth investigation of biomass molecules and structures. On this basis, we design and develop the initial steps of biomass conversion pathways following the principles of sustainable chemistry.
