{"id":46671,"date":"2020-08-17T18:11:39","date_gmt":"2020-08-17T18:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lnbr.cnpem.br\/?page_id=46671"},"modified":"2025-02-27T10:51:57","modified_gmt":"2025-02-27T10:51:57","slug":"visao-geral","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lnbr.cnpem.br\/visao-geral\/","title":{"rendered":"LNBR | Vis\u00e3o Geral"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O <a href=\"http:\/\/cnpem.br\/\">Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais (CNPEM)<\/a> \u00e9 uma institui\u00e7\u00e3o privada sem fins lucrativos financiada pelo Minist\u00e9rio da Ci\u00eancia, Tecnologia e Inova\u00e7\u00f5es (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/mcti\/pt-br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MCTI<\/a>). \u00c9 composto por quatro Laborat\u00f3rios Nacionais: Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Luz Sincrotron (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lnls.cnpem.br\/\">LNLS<\/a>), Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Bioci\u00eancias (<a href=\"https:\/\/lnbio.cnpem.br\/\">LNBio<\/a>), Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Nanotecnologia (<a href=\"https:\/\/lnnano.cnpem.br\/\">LNNano<\/a>) e <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Biorrenov\u00e1veis (LNBR).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]<strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Vis\u00e3o Geral<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O LNBR emprega a biotecnologia para enfrentar os desafios cient\u00edficos e tecnol\u00f3gicos do desenvolvimento econ\u00f4mico sustent\u00e1vel. Ele busca acelerar a transi\u00e7\u00e3o de uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o industrial baseada em recursos f\u00f3sseis para uma ind\u00fastria de base biol\u00f3gica e renov\u00e1vel, que promova a independ\u00eancia tecnol\u00f3gica do Brasil e reduza os impactos ambientais. Por causa disso, o LNBR dedica-se ao desenvolvimento de microrganismos e enzimas para estabelecer novos modelos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o industrial que possam gerar riqueza e empregos, ao mesmo tempo em que reduz os impactos ao meio ambiente. As plataformas biotecnol\u00f3gicas do LNBR beneficiam setores econ\u00f4micos como energia, transporte, ind\u00fastria e agricultura. A biologia sint\u00e9tica, estrutural e computacional \u00e9 utilizada para projetar e personalizar plataformas para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de biocombust\u00edveis, bioqu\u00edmicos e biomateriais. As plataformas e processos podem ser validados em escala semi-industrial (300 litros) na Planta Piloto para Desenvolvimento de Processos, uma instala\u00e7\u00e3o singular no pa\u00eds. Estes desenvolvimentos s\u00e3o apoiados por avalia\u00e7\u00f5es tecno-econ\u00f4micas e ambientais, por An\u00e1lises de Ciclo de Vida que contribuem para orientar e acelerar a transfer\u00eancia de tecnologia e bem como pelo monitoramento de servi\u00e7os ecossist\u00eamicos em escala regional e nacional para promover a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel da biomassa.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Singularidades do LNBR<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O LNBR abriga capacidades cient\u00edficas multidisciplinares e instrumentos avan\u00e7ados necess\u00e1rios para levar as tecnologias dos princ\u00edpios fundamentais \u00e0 escala semi-industrial (TRL 1 a 7), incluindo:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">compreens\u00e3o mecan\u00edstica das plataformas biol\u00f3gicas a n\u00edvel at\u00f4mico e molecular para alcan\u00e7ar alto desempenho e relev\u00e2ncia industrial,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">biocat\u00e1lise computacional para abordar quest\u00f5es fundamentais e orientar a concep\u00e7\u00e3o de experimentos,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">projeto e desenvolvimento de processos e tecnologias at\u00e9 a escala semi-industrial para acelerar a transfer\u00eancia de tecnologia,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">modelagem e simula\u00e7\u00f5es para avaliar os impactos tecno-econ\u00f4micos e ambientais dos desenvolvimentos tecnol\u00f3gicos e para promover o uso sustent\u00e1vel da biomassa e dos recursos naturais.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"gtx-trans\" style=\"position: absolute; O LNBR est\u00e1 alinhado como os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel (ODS) estabelecidos pela Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas ao desenvolver tecnologias para produ\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel de biorrenov\u00e1veis de forma a manter positivo o balan\u00e7o entre os servi\u00e7os e desservi\u00e7os ecossist\u00eamicos gerados por estas cadeias produtivas. Esta atua\u00e7\u00e3o inclui A\u00e7\u00f5es Contra a Mudan\u00e7a Global do Clima (ODS 13), catalisa a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de Energia Limpa e Acess\u00edvel (ODS 7) por meio dos biocombust\u00edveis avan\u00e7ados, favorece a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o da Vida Terrestre (ODS 15) com o monitoramento e avalia\u00e7\u00e3o dos impactos nos ecossistemas, estimula o Consumo e Produ\u00e7\u00e3o Respons\u00e1veis (ODS 12) e impulsiona a Ind\u00fastria, Inova\u00e7\u00e3o e Infraestrutura (ODS 9) atrav\u00e9s do desenvolvimento de solu\u00e7\u00f5es biotecnol\u00f3gicas inovadoras. O f\u00edsico Rog\u00e9rio Cezar de Cerqueira Leite coordenou um grupo de cerca de 30 pesquisadores de v\u00e1rias institui\u00e7\u00f5es para realizar um estudo de tr\u00eas anos sobre &#8220;Energias Renov\u00e1veis&#8221;: Etanol de cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>O foco foi o impacto das novas tecnologias agr\u00edcolas e industriais na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de etanol de cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar e nas correspondentes avalia\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais, sociais, macroecon\u00f4micas e log\u00edsticas. Os resultados indicaram haver gargalos tecnol\u00f3gicos a serem superados e a necessidade de aprofundar o conhecimento cient\u00edfico e tecnol\u00f3gico associado \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de etanol. Estas descobertas alimentaram discuss\u00f5es sobre a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de um centro de pesquisa que agregaria grupos de pesquisa brasileiros para abordar os gargalos da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de etanol.<\/p>\n<p>A constru\u00e7\u00e3o do Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia do Bioetanol (CTBE) come\u00e7ou no in\u00edcio de 2009, sob a lideran\u00e7a do prof. Marco Aur\u00e9lio Pinheiro Lima. Sua inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o ocorreu em 2010, tornando-se totalmente operacional em 2012. Durante quase uma d\u00e9cada, o CTBE desenvolveu e continua a desenvolver parcerias de P&amp;D com a ind\u00fastria sucroenerg\u00e9tica e outros parceiros industriais.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2018, o CTBE foi reposicionado para refor\u00e7ar a agenda de pesquisa do CNPEM com o objetivo de estabelecer novas parcerias com o setor de biotecnologia industrial. Al\u00e9m disso, o Laborat\u00f3rio aprofundou seus processos de integra\u00e7\u00e3o, buscando solu\u00e7\u00f5es conjuntas com os outros Laborat\u00f3rios Nacionais que comp\u00f5em o Centro.<\/p>\n<p>Como elemento da estrat\u00e9gia, em 2019 o CTBE tornou-se o <strong>Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Biorrenov\u00e1veis (LNBR)<\/strong>.
