O biog\u00e1s, por sua vez, \u00e9 definido como o g\u00e1s bruto obtido da decomposi\u00e7\u00e3o biol\u00f3gica de produtos ou res\u00edduos org\u00e2nicos. Os componentes principais do biog\u00e1s s\u00e3o metano e di\u00f3xido de carbono (CO<sub>2<\/sub>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No projeto BioValue o interesse principal \u00e9 sobre o biometano oriundo do biog\u00e1s obtido da biodigest\u00e3o anaer\u00f3bia de res\u00edduos org\u00e2nicos de origem vegetal nas biorrefinarias. Entretanto, o biog\u00e1s tamb\u00e9m pode ser produzido em aterros sanit\u00e1rios e esta\u00e7\u00f5es de tratamento de esgoto, al\u00e9m de biodigestores operando com dejetos animais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Especifica\u00e7\u00f5es e equival\u00eancia com g\u00e1s natural (GN)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As especifica\u00e7\u00f5es do biometano no Brasil s\u00e3o regulamentadas pela <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/anp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ag\u00eancia Nacional do Petr\u00f3leo, G\u00e1s Natural e Biocombust\u00edveis (ANP)<\/strong><\/a>. A <a href=\"https:\/\/atosoficiais.com.br\/anp\/resolucao-n-8-2015\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o ANP n\u00ba 8\/2015<\/strong><\/a> estabelece a especifica\u00e7\u00f5es do biometano oriundo de produtos e res\u00edduos org\u00e2nicos agrossilvopastoris e comerciais. Para o biometano oriundo de aterros sanit\u00e1rios e de esta\u00e7\u00f5es de tratamento de esgoto, as especifica\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o estabelecidas pela <a href=\"https:\/\/atosoficiais.com.br\/anp\/resolucao-n-685-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o ANP n\u00ba 685\/2017<\/strong><\/a>. Entretanto, a <a href=\"https:\/\/atosoficiais.com.br\/anp\/resolucao-n-685-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o ANP n\u00ba 685\/2017<\/strong><\/a> altera a tabela de especifica\u00e7\u00f5es do biometano oriundo de produtos e res\u00edduos org\u00e2nicos agrossilvopastoris e comerciais e, portanto, suas especifica\u00e7\u00f5es tamb\u00e9m podem ser encontradas na <a href=\"https:\/\/atosoficiais.com.br\/anp\/resolucao-n-685-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o ANP n\u00ba 685\/2017<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O biometano regulamentado pelas resolu\u00e7\u00f5es da ANP se destina ao uso veicular (GNV) e em instala\u00e7\u00f5es residenciais, comerciais, industriais e de gera\u00e7\u00e3o de pot\u00eancia, sendo permitida ainda sua mistura ao g\u00e1s natural (GN). A equival\u00eancia do biometano com o g\u00e1s natural \u00e9 corroborada pela <a href=\"https:\/\/atosoficiais.com.br\/anp\/resolucao-n-8-2015\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o ANP n\u00ba 8\/2015<\/strong><\/a> que trata o biometano de forma an\u00e1loga ao g\u00e1s natural, sendo intercambi\u00e1vel com o g\u00e1s natural entregue \u00e0 distribui\u00e7\u00e3o nas Regi\u00f5es Nordeste, Centro-Oeste, Sul e Sudeste.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As especifica\u00e7\u00f5es do biometano (<a href=\"https:\/\/atosoficiais.com.br\/anp\/resolucao-n-685-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o ANP n\u00ba 685\/2017<\/strong><\/a>) e do g\u00e1s natural (<a href=\"https:\/\/atosoficiais.com.br\/anp\/resolucao-n-16-2008\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o ANP n\u00ba 16\/2008<\/strong><\/a>) s\u00e3o id\u00eanticas para muitas caracter\u00edsticas, como por exemplo: poder calor\u00edfico superior, \u00edndice de Wobbe, teores m\u00e1ximos de CO<sub>2<\/sub>, enxofre e H<sub>2<\/sub>S e pontos de orvalho de \u00e1gua e de hidrocarbonetos. As principais diferen\u00e7as est\u00e3o nos teores de metano, etano, propano, butanos e outros hidrocarbonetos mais pesados. Por exemplo, no biometano o teor m\u00ednimo de metano \u00e9 uma fra\u00e7\u00e3o em mol de 90% para qualquer regi\u00e3o do Pa\u00eds, ao passo que para o g\u00e1s natural esse teor \u00e9 de no m\u00ednimo 68% na Regi\u00e3o Norte e de no m\u00ednimo 85% nas Regi\u00f5es Nordeste, Centro-Oeste, Sul e Sudeste. No caso de etano, propano, butanos e hidrocarbonetos mais pesados, h\u00e1 especifica\u00e7\u00f5es para o g\u00e1s natural; j\u00e1 no caso do biometano, esses teores precisam apenas ser determinados se houver adi\u00e7\u00e3o de GN, propano ou GLP ao biometano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Transforma\u00e7\u00e3o biog\u00e1s a biometano<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O upgrading do biog\u00e1s a biometano \u00e9 realizado com uma sequ\u00eancia de processos de separa\u00e7\u00e3o para a remo\u00e7\u00e3o de H<sub>2<\/sub>S, CO<sub>2<\/sub> e \u00e1gua, entre outros contaminantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Em geral, a remo\u00e7\u00e3o do H<sub>2<\/sub>S \u00e9 a primeira etapa do processo, por ser corrosivo. Algumas tecnologias que podem ser empregadas na remo\u00e7\u00e3o do H<sub>2<\/sub>S s\u00e3o: precipita\u00e7\u00e3o, adsor\u00e7\u00e3o, absor\u00e7\u00e3o, microaera\u00e7\u00e3o, separa\u00e7\u00e3o por membrana e oxida\u00e7\u00e3o. A microaera\u00e7\u00e3o emprega bact\u00e9rias capazes de oxidar o H<sub>2<\/sub>S na presen\u00e7a de O<sub>2<\/sub>. Entretanto, a inje\u00e7\u00e3o de O<sub>2<\/sub> pode levar \u00e0 necessidade de sua remo\u00e7\u00e3o posterior, pois, o teor de O<sub>2<\/sub> \u00e9 especificado em uma fra\u00e7\u00e3o em mol de 0,8%, no m\u00e1ximo, segundo a <a href=\"https:\/\/atosoficiais.com.br\/anp\/resolucao-n-685-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o ANP n\u00ba 685\/2017<\/strong><\/a>. Tecnologias para evitar essa limita\u00e7\u00e3o combinam a dessulfuriza\u00e7\u00e3o biol\u00f3gica com uma pr\u00e9-lavagem com NaOH para absorver o H<sub>2<\/sub>S antes do processo microbiol\u00f3gico. No polimento final pode ser empregada a precipita\u00e7\u00e3o do enxofre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A remo\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua em geral \u00e9 a segunda etapa de purifica\u00e7\u00e3o do biog\u00e1s, sendo importante tamb\u00e9m para o processo de separa\u00e7\u00e3o do metano e do CO<sub>2<\/sub> pelo processo de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o (PSA). A remo\u00e7\u00e3o da umidade \u00e9 geralmente feita por adsor\u00e7\u00e3o, absor\u00e7\u00e3o, compress\u00e3o\/refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o ou condensa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por fim, para a separa\u00e7\u00e3o de metano e CO<sub>2<\/sub> s\u00e3o empregados processos de absor\u00e7\u00e3o com etanolaminas, separa\u00e7\u00e3o por membrana ou adsor\u00e7\u00e3o (PSA). O processo de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o PSA apresenta boa competitividade em termos de energia e ainda pode remover outros contaminantes al\u00e9m do CO<sub>2<\/sub>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Formas de comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como o biometano \u00e9 intercambi\u00e1vel com o g\u00e1s natural entregue \u00e0 distribui\u00e7\u00e3o nas Regi\u00f5es Nordeste, Centro-Oeste, Sul e Sudeste, os processos de compress\u00e3o, distribui\u00e7\u00e3o, redu\u00e7\u00e3o de press\u00e3o e as formas de comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o os mesmos adotados para o GN. O biometano pode ser transportado atrav\u00e9s de gasodutos e na forma de g\u00e1s comprimido atrav\u00e9s de ve\u00edculos transportadores adequados para essa finalidade. O biometano tamb\u00e9m pode ser transportado atrav\u00e9s de duto dedicado em que h\u00e1 apenas entrega de biometano oriundo de aterros sanit\u00e1rios e esta\u00e7\u00f5es de tratamento de esgoto para consumidores industriais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O biometano comercializado tamb\u00e9m deve atender \u00e0s especifica\u00e7\u00f5es de componentes potencialmente corrosivos como H<sub>2<\/sub>S, CO<sub>2<\/sub> e \u00e1gua (ponto de orvalho de \u00e1gua) para preservar a integridade e a seguran\u00e7a de equipamentos e instala\u00e7\u00f5es na distribui\u00e7\u00e3o, de componentes halogenados para atender requisitos de sa\u00fade ocupacional, e de siloxanos devido \u00e0 forma\u00e7\u00e3o de dep\u00f3sitos de \u00f3xidos de sil\u00edcio no catalisador de ve\u00edculos e filmes de s\u00edlica em queimadores. A odora\u00e7\u00e3o do biometano deve ser feita quando for injetado na rede de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o.
