At CNPEM we acquired competencies and mastered techniques for the development of biological platforms:

  • Structural and molecular biology: synchrotron-based crystallography, electronic microscopy (including cryo-EM) and bioimaging capabilities,
  • Multiomics, multi metaomic approaches and analytical capabilities: genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and proteomics,
  • Synthetic biology: biological engineering, bioinformatics and computational biocatalysis (Molecular Dynamics and Quantum Mechanics).

Research equipment for the development of biological platforms is either available at LNBR or at its sister Laboratories at CNPEM.
