Definition and standardization of Green Gasoline

Among the advanced biofuels studied in the BioValue Project, Green Gasoline, obtained as a co-product of Aviation Biokerosene through the Fischer-Tropsch and bio-oil co-processing in FCC units routes, is also valued in the evaluation of the production chain assessment and, therefore, its standardization is one of the study objects of the project. Green Gasoline is not yet in the process of regulation by ANP. The current ANP Resolutions are those related to aviation gasoline (Resolution No. 5/2009) and gasoline for automotive use (Resolution No. 807/2020). An update of these two Standards was published in Resolution No. 828/2020 and “provides for the information contained in quality documents and the submission of quality data of fuels produced in the national territory or imported and makes other provisions.”
